How to Play
There are three types of magical abilities: - create new pawn; - create new obstacle; - change one piece to another. To use the ability, drag the card onto an empty cell (if it is a new pawn or a new obstacle) or onto a piece (if it is a change of piece).
About Chess Royale
Chess Royale is a non-standard chess game where each king has magical powers. Your goal is to cut down the enemy king, and you do it by combining the queue of moves with magical abilities to build a winning tactic. What sets this strategy board game apart from regular chess is the ability cards. There are three types of magic: create a new pawn, create a new obstacle, or change one piece into another. Each one can reshape the board, block an attack, or open a path to the enemy king, so every turn means more than just moving a piece. Controls are simple and work well with mouse or touch. To use an ability, drag its card onto an empty cell if it creates a new pawn or a new obstacle. If you want to change one piece to another, drag the card onto the piece itself. Tips for Chess Royale
